Welcome to our website Kents number one New Mini Club.... Kent New MINI is a club based in the South of England for the new BMW MINI,And classic mini. We have a friendly atmosphere on our forum where everyone is welcome so come and join the forum and make some new friends. Few of the things KNM get up too include pub meets, BBQs, runs around the south east, visits to tourist attractions around England, meeting at MINI events including London 2 Brighton, MINI United, and the New MINI day. Everyone is invited kids, animals, absolutely everyone; it’s all about having a bit of fun with something we all love to talk about.

Hi all kent modified are going to the midnight run on saturday if anyones intrested should be good by the sound of it .There are loads of photographers going to take pick for there forum and i think mags.Will be lots of differant cars and fast car should be fun. Cool

Apologies if you read the Mini2 forum, as I've just posted this over there.

Then I realised maybe I can get some help here, and that it is a local issue!

Last night I was playing a gig in the Ypres Castle in Rye. I parked the car just through the archway near the top of the stairs leading down to the pub......

Anyway....

Had a funny feeling that all wouldn't be right on my return....and I was right!

Some thieving **** had helped themseves to my aerial.

Luckily, there wasn't any other damage - they had just unscrewed, and legged it.

I was quite panicky about what I'd find today - scratches, other damage - but it was just the aerial they wanted.

Any ideas on the best place to buy? Dealer wants about £15, but E-bay seems to have some (almost) genuine looking articles.

Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts, and if they have suffered a similar theft - is this common?

BTW, car is a 2008 Cooper.

Incidentally, there was a policeman there, by the car when I got back to it. He made it clear there was no point in reporting it, but that he would have a look around with his flashlight for it. He promptly vanished! Twisted Evil

I unfortunately have just been informed that Mick sadly passed away at 7.30pm this evening, it was peaceful and he was in no pain.

I am in contact with his family who have asked for time and space to deal with this news.

I will post details of the funeral arrangements when they are know.

Mick - You were a total total legend and like a second Dad to me, I will never forget the impact you have had on my life.

GP Mick - Taken from us far to early, but NEVER EVER forgotten.
